everyone is asking about halloween costume opportunities so here are three:
Oct 30 benefit dance at La Hacienda Rec Center, don't have to be village resident, admission free but bring a toy or school supplies for local needy children. music by marty newton. this is not a singles dance but hopefully we can find each other and sit together and have fun. refreshments will be provided but byob and snacks if you like.
Oct 31 a few of us will dress up and go to the local hot spots where the costumes are always fun to see....i always try to make the costume contest at katie belle's as the creativity is amazing! pm if you want to join.
Nov 1 regular monthly meeting of Bohemian Bistro Cafe at Paradise Rec Center (must be resident or guest) will be a costume affair. open mike for skits, songs, poetry, just a lot of fun and some very talented folks. bring snacks to share on snack table. i think there is a $2 entry. check rec news for time. let your inner entertainer come out!
