A friend of mine is looking for a cat that is laid back and not hyper
and is not a kitten, but not too old either. She is by herself and
wants some company. Had to get rid of her dog, so thinks a cat would
be nice. Thanks for any help.

Saw the ad and jumped on it soonest. Just got an email from her. She's going to talk to her friend and let me know. The only glitch seems to be that her friend has her heart set on a long hair. Here's hoping. Thanks!!!

I have five cats and we've been trying to find a home for two of them. Millie and Jake. They are part Norwegian Forest cats and long haired. Both are 6 years old and I adopted them as kittens. They were front declawed by the Adoption people. Both are healthy and very lovable cats. Jake is a true lap cat and Millie is a cuddlier.

As long as you feed them and pet them; they will love you. Here is a picture of Jake - Millie is smaller and her coat is longer. It's breaking my heart to even consider adopting them out but I know downsizing to half of what we have now is going to be a challenge with five cats. Only stipulation is they are adopted together and I can visit with them for awhile to make sure they are totally adjusted.

Thanks Chuck but I need to be close enough to visit. I love all my cats. All have different personalities. Millie and Jake (in picture) are my love bugs; Molly is my fiety calico. She's the diva. Ben is our alpha cat and weighs in at 25lbs. Missy is my rescue and the sweetest cat on the planet. She sticks to me like glue.

Is Millie the cat in the picture?

I have a cat that looks almost identical to this one. His name is Buddy and a real cuddler, too. He's 14 years old but you'd never know it.

His brother, Jazz, is also 14 but is orange, fatter, and loves to bite to show his affection. When we scratch his back we're always on the lookout for his "love" bites.

I'll post a pic as soon as I take a recent one...ok...getting my camera now.

No, that's Jake. Millie is in the this picture. She's the cat looking up at the aquarium. There's Molly my calico and then Jake again. Millie has a very sweet face.

They are all beautiful. We are cat people too.

Boomer is our 12 year old black and white,
Casper is 9--guess what color he is?
Darcy is calico. She is the"princess"

All are rescue. They make the best pets

We are believers in rescue, too. All but 2 of our cats and dogs were adopted from shelters or rescue centers. The other 2 were from private homes.

What gorgeous cats we all have. I bet Casper, the solid black kitty (you did tell me to guess ;D), is a cutey, too. Aren't calicos always the princesses? Have yet to meet one that isn't more spoiled than any other cat in the house.

And I still need a home for Sweetums. He is such a doll baby and a lap kitty!
