hi friends,
have decided i need a hiatus from organizing social activities and look forward to just enjoying things that other people suggest, such as kathleen's lovely evening at oktoberfest last week...every time i post something i feel obliged to attend and it is taking its toll on my energy, sleep, and other concerns. we have lots of creative people in our circle of friends so i know at least a few will step up and keep our thread alive. would not like to see our Meet and Greets discontinued.
i still encourage newbies to post here and let us know when you are arriving so we can plan a hearty welcome! just need to recharge for a few weeks! :)
in addition, want to call everyone's attention to a new facebook page called Villages Single Seniors started by our own karen! another good place to catch up, make comments, post photos etc. check it out!
