I have read that the headlights should be used on a 48 volt to 12 volt reducer to get better life from the batteries. I ordered a voltage reducer from Amazon for about $25 and it sparked as soon as I hooked the 48 volts to it. I sent it back, junk, it was only about $25. I have looked for a better one, but the prices really jump. I checked at the Club Car dealer on 441 near Sam's club and they want $300 for one. My question is, has others did this change and how much did it cost?

You should be looking for a quality 48 -12 thirty amp unit properly installed to work with the key switch.
Our price point is $225-240

Seems expensive. What brand do you install?

And I 'd like to know why my posts on this subject keep getting deleted??????

The deletions might be because the only person who should be answering questions in this forum is the "Expert". (I am just guessing)

There is another forum for miscellaneous golf cart discussions.
