Does anybody know why there is a Townwatch employee stationed everyday, all day long at the St. James Gate? They have been there every day it seems for at least a month. Just curious.

Just a thought - why not stop and ask the Community Watch person why they are stationed there?

Probably because stopping, asking and waiting for a reply would interfere with the flow of traffic.

You can't, sandtrap. They are parked smack in the middle of the space between the entrance and exit to the gate, mostly sitting in their car. There's no room to pull off anywhere to ask them without blocking traffic.

We too wonder why they are there. We've also seen them sitting at some other gates as well all month. Someone thought it might have something to do with early voting, but that seems odd.

It has been discussed in previous threads. It is to give directions to the early voters location at Allamanda. I know this for a fact.

Thanks, Phanatic Luvr. You beat me to the punch, as I was going to ask you next. I seem to remember your husband works for CW.

Its Village Watch.

I thought it was Community Watch, but there is nothing wrong with a little upgrade.

Okay, I understand. I haven't been that far South in about a month. My passport and visa have to be updated to travel as far as St. James.
