ISIS gives tips on how to be a good jihadi wife | New York Post (http://nypost.com/2014/11/01/isis-media-wings-tips-on-how-to-be-a-good-jihadi-wife/)
I have several reactions to this including ... how in the world are these guys able to 'market' this idea of becoming a Jihadi Wife?? What in the world motivates any sane woman to want to do this?

The other day I found my fifth or sixth new phone book in my driveway. These new books will replace my "old new" phone books which were never used and still have the lawyer refrigerator magnets attached. My idea regarding Isis is to collect all these old phone books from every TV home and then donate them to our military. Our military can take these phone books with magnets attached fly them to any Isis war zone and then from ten thousand feet and several hundred miles an hour drop them on Isis fighters. These guys will never know what hit them (a two pound phone book flying down from the sky at several hundred mph can put a stop to anything) plus these "book bombs" can never be reused by them as conventional weapons can be when captured.
If that should fail or any Isis survives I know where to get several tons of unused 2013 Social Security benefits books.

That has to be the most non-article "article" I've read in a long time. We all know or should know that traditional Muslim women are to stay home and take care of the home. If I understand the article correctly, the websites are telling women how to take care of their men, including energy foods and how to make propaganda (don't speak enough Arabic to understand the websites, unfortunately).
This is not the role most modern women want but there are some who do want to stay home and simply take care of children, their husbands and their home. Obviously, these websites appeal to that type of woman. And, if you believe in Sharia law, these websites are definitely informational, especially if new to this faith.
Not my cup of tea but, then, I wouldn't mind blowing the head off of every extremist espousing hate.

PNaughton: Not a good idea because those ISIS injured by the telephone books will take that magnet call the attorney and sue. they will win take that money buy more guns and dazzle more women who will want to marry them because they carry big guns:pepper2:

Actually, I disagree that’s it’s a non-article article …
Regarding your comment about Sharia law, and being “… new to the faith” I thought this excerpt from The Week newsmagazine (Oct 24, page 7) provides additional insight into the genuinely savage nature of Radical Islam. It turns out there are a lot of women recently captured who were “new to the faith” which is one way to put it.
“ISIS Takes Sex Slaves. The Islamic State of Syria and Iraq has offered its explanation for why its fighters are taking Iraqi women and girls as sex slaves. “The Revival of Savagery Before the Hour”, an article in the latest edition of ISIS’s English language magazine, Dabiq, says the group’s extreme version of Sharia law allows for enslavement and forced marriage of infidels, including members of Iraq’s Yazidi religious minority. Thousands of Yazidi girls and women are thought to have been captured by ISIS militants and taken to Syria since August. Yazidi refugees tell of “forced marriage, and even sexual assault and slavery” said Fred Abrahams a special advisor at Human Rights Watch.”

Did anyone watch 60 Minutes last night? The whole 1st 1/2 hr was dealing with Isis and how they're propigating their adjenda in Great Britain, the rest of Europe and the U.S. Their intent is to instigate Sharia Law throughout the world. It would be for EVERYONE and not just the Muslims....that is unless they also would force their religion on the rest of us.
NOT what I'd want to happen here or anywhere for that matter.

The wife should remember that upon her, to the greatest extent, devolves the duty of making home happy. She should do nothing to make her husband feel uncomfortable, either mentally or physically, but on the other hand she should strive to the utmost of her ability to do whatever is best calculated to please him, continually showing him that her love, plighted upon the altar, remains steadfast, and that no vicissitudes of fortune can change or diminish it.
She should never indulge in fits of temper, hysterics, or other habits of ill-breeding, which, though easy to conquer at first, grow and strengthen with indulgence, if she should retain her husband as her lover and her dearest and nearest friend. She should be equally as neat and tidy respecting her dress and personal appearance at home as when she appears in society, and her manners towards her husband should be as kind and pleasing when alone with him as when in company. She should bear in mind that to retain the good opinion of her husband is worth far more than to gain the good opinion of hundreds of the devotees of society, and that as she possesses the love and confidence of her husband, so will she receive the respect and esteem of all his friends.
She should consult the disposition and tastes of her husband, and endeavour to lead him to high and noble thoughts, lofty aims, and temporal comfort; be ever ready to welcome him home, and in his companionship draw his thoughts from business and lead him to the enjoyment of home comforts and happiness. The influence of a good wife over her husband may be very great, if she exerts it in the right direction. She should, above all things, study to learn the disposition of her husband, and if, perchance, she finds herself united to a man of quick and violent temper, the utmost discretion, as well as perfect equanimity, on her part is required, for she should have such perfect control over herself as to calm his perturbed spirits
But it should be understood, that for every wife the first duty is the making and keeping of her own home! Her first and best work should be done there—and until it is well done—she has no right to go outside to take up other duties. She is to be a "worker at home!"
Her hand wipes away the teardrops when there is sorrow. In sickness she is the tender nurse. She bears upon her own heart every burden that weighs upon her husband. No matter how the world goes with him during the day—when he enters his own door he meets the fragrant atmosphere of love
She will look well to her personal appearance; no woman can be careless in her dress, slovenly and untidy—and long keep her place on the throne of her husband's life. She will look well to her inner life. She must have mental attractiveness. She will seek to be clothed in spiritual beauty. Her husband must see in her ever-new loveliness, as the years move on.
We have all heard the old saying, “The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach.” If a wife has claimed her husband’s heart for God, she might try reaching it through his stomach, if all else has failed.

I think the article could have been much better written and much more informative. It hinted at what the writer thought but actually said little. It is a puff piece. From what I could glean, the websites mentioned told women how to be a good Muslim wife under Sharia law. Since a woman raised in the faith knows this, the websites should be for those new to the faith. Since I could not understand them, I don't know for sure.
These websites are not for women who have been captured. They are for those who have converted of their own will.
Please understand that I find ISIL abhorrent. I cannot understand those who want to leave their country, families, friends to take up arms and kill innocent people. They are traitors and should be treated accordingly. I would love to see ISIL completely annihilated, as I would any other extremist group. My biggest fear is that whenever one is eliminated, another, even worse group emerges.

Ah yes, but in the midst of your enlightened moral equivalency I think you completely missed the real point ... Isis is recruiting wives so that the Muslim "warriors" can get a good home cooked meal etc etc so they can go "to work" the next day and energetically slaughter infidels like you me,and most on this board ... all to further spread the black flag and Sharia worldwide
Do you really think that's equivalent to contemporary Christian proselytizing?
Does it bother you that Isis continues to expand while we dither?

Sorry, but I am missing your point. If you are trying to compare this to being subjected to Shira law, you can't understand what that is. Where does it say that you will be stoned to death for "alleged" adultery. Where does it say that you are divorced because your husband says I divorce the 3 times. Where does it state you are a sex slave to your husband. Where does it say if divorced you are shunned and allowed to starve to death.
Every free women in the world should be violently protesting Shira law and all the enslaved women in the world subjected to it. And yet the womens movement is more concerned about equal pay and sexual harassment. I am not saying they shouldn't be, but I fail to see any logic for fighting those issues and doing nothing about Shira law. Which is so much more harmful to women all over the world. It was stated why do they do this? For the rush? And the real answer is they are forced to. Daughters are sold into bondage by their own fathers. Women are forced into sexual slaves or be killed.
I have and will continue to do what ever I can to remove this blight from mankind. Unfortunately I seem to be a voice of one. There is no national or international outrage over this.

Well, I suggest you focus more on the content than your dislike for the Post... ie the whole process of recruiting women to support jihad and the propagation of Sharia ...
There's other sources out there ...the NY Post is just the first one that caught my eye.
Here's one from Time:
How ISIS Is Recruiting Women to Join (http://time.com/3276567/how-isis-is-recruiting-women-from-around-the-world/)
This is one excerpt:
“The main role of the muhajirah [female migrant] here is to support her husband and his jihad and [God willing] to increase this ummah [Islamic community].” She follows with a quote culled from a Salafist website: “The best of women are those who do not see the men, and who are not seen by men.” ISIS’s recruitment may take place with 21st century technology, but when it comes to women, its ethos is firmly ground in the seventh.

It's a tabloid, not to be taken seriously. Using an article in it as a reference is quite a stretch. Here's a typical front page:
