In Feb 2006, we had a solar fan installed by Solar Lights and More to vent the attic. They did a nice job. Last night, however, my brother in law called to say that my attic fan was screeching and that the neighbors called him in our absence to investigate the noise. He's a handy guy, climbed on my roof and taped black plastic across the solar panel to stop the fan and the noise. This morning, I called Solar Lights and More to request warranty service. The fan motor was covered by a 5 year warranty. Within an hour, Solar Lights and More came out and replaced the fan motor, no service charge. We all know that any warranty is only as good as the company who backs it. Since I'd be quick to post a bad experience, I thought it only fair to share a good experience as well. George
