Anyone have recommendations about doctors for orthopedic issues? Local or within 25-30 miles? Maybe someone who does knee rehab or knee and/or hip replacement? Thanks.

I love my Ortho doc but he is in Ocoee. Dr Richard C Smith with Florida Center for Orthopedics. I have had to have wrist surgery, back surgery and now knee surgery due to a golf cart wreck. Most of the arrogant Orthos in Florida will not treat accident victims because of the No Fault Law. Be wise in choosing. Dr Smith is worth the drive. All the medical staff in the surgery centers tell me that if they were to have surgery he would be their choice. I feel blessed to have found him even though it was quite an ordeal to do so.

I used Dr. Cook at Tri-County Orthopedics. I highly recommend him!!!!

You may want to try Dr. Peter Mulhern. He rehabbed a knee and a hand for me without surgery. Only does surgery when necessary.

Dr. J. Dean Cole at Florida Hospital Orlando is THE BEST. He is worth the trip.

Orthopedic Institute - Ocala is the best - Dr. Locker or Dr. Rogers
