The Solar Guys (441 just north of TV) or Solar Lights & More out of Ocala are both reputable companies.

We used Solar Guys cause we like their Solatube product better and had attic fan done at same time.

The Solar Guys at 13624 S. US Hwy 441 in Summerfield, just a bit north of TV, are the best! Their toll-free phone number is 1-866-767-6527. When you call, speak with Mike if he's available and tell him that Susan & David on Abbeville Loop recommended them. Insofar as an installer is concerned, we're partial to Tim (whom you can ask for). He's informative (will answer all your questions and demonstrate how the unit works) and incredibly neat in his work (as are, I'm sure, their other installers as well, like Jesse who did our next door neighbors' fan). You'll be really pleased, and this type of fan is excellent for the health of the house!

Solar Guys .. $459 installed; I believe they only had one size...if you have an unusually large space they would put in 2 fans.

We have a 2,000 sq ft house and put in one just to help with ventilation/cooling.

I used The Solar Guys too and would recommend them. Are you also getting a solar tube, we had 2 put in, one in the guest bath that didn't have a window and one in the kitchen over the stove/sink area, we really like the solar tubes. GN

They told us that one fan would be more than adequate for 1,500 square feet; a little more would be no problem. Our neighbors have a much larger house and they put in two. Yes, we had them do solar tubes as well (both baths and the LR/DR/kit area), and they do these just as well as the fans. The one thing we'd suggest considering regarding solar tubes--and this is strictly personal taste--is an amber filter behind the lens. We found the very white light almost a bit cool looking, kind of like a cool white fluorescent bulb; the amber mutes it a bit. and gives the light a warmer look/feel. The only other thing the Solar Guys do, which we didn't do as we've never been in TV during the summer, is a garage vent fan. Their work is terrific!

The attic fans and solar tubes are great. The Solar Guys even cleaned up all work areas.
Now, thats a plus!

SL, We put a solar fan in the attic but I'd also like to add an exhaust fan from the garage and will contact the Solar Guys you recommend. We may need to add vent to the garage door, otherwise we'd be sucking some of the AC from the house. My garage in the summer time with the door closed can be brutal and while insulation in the ceiling might help, I think an exhaust fan would make a difference.
