Flashing Yellow Arrow

As information for Villages residents, we would like to inform you The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has implemented a new type of traffic signal at certain locations throughout the state and at some intersections adjacent to The Villages. The signals now include a flashing yellow arrow. It is a new type of signal which is placed over a left turn lane at a signalized intersection where one of the signal indications is a flashing yellow arrow. They are the result of a national study conducted by the Federal Highway Administration, which demonstrated many benefits.
