What is the best lube for the zippers and snaps for golf cart enclosures?

I was told to use Chap Stik on my snaps and it works great! Not sure about the zippers.

The Villages golf cart guy recommended chapstick on the snaps and vaseline on the zippers. Works well but needs to be reapplied every few months.

What about a little WD40? Rubbed on, not sprayed.

Rub an old candle on the zipper. It's also good for the tracks of sliding doors or screen doors that squeal. Wd 40 will work for a while but attracts dirt that sticks and doesn't last long. I also use the candle for coat jackets or for any zippers.

powdered graphite works too. I use it for locks. Comes in a spray. Messy though

We used Dove bar soap on our convertible top snaps.
Worked great.
