This morning my husband and I shopped at Beall's. Upon arriving home, he realized he'd bought the wrong size on one item. Before returning to the store to make an exchange, I checked to be sure I had the receipt with me. That's when I noticed that we'd been charged twice for one item.
I don't remember this ever happening to me before so I have no basis for comparison. However, I thought Beall's would be polite but regret that they couldn't refund the extra charge since I'd left the store and they couldn't confirm the items in the bag. Wow, was I pleasantly surprised!
The salesperson who assisted me apologized for the error and, without further question, credited my account for the extra charge. She was very pleasant throughout the whole exchange.
Just want to give a well deserved thumbs up to Beall's customer service.
