Rocket launch visitation help, please

I haven't been to a launch at Canaveral, but plan to go Dec. 3, 2014, staying overnight from Dec. 2 to see an early launch.

Is there a good viewing place for launches that doesn't include tickets, fees, etc?

Thank you very much for help with this, since I'm really excited to go.

By the by... your post makes it sound as if the next launch is December 3rd. It's scheduled for December 4th, 7:05 AM.

Ecuadog, you are correct, just checked the KSC site for tickets.
