I bring all my friends that visit to Eisenhower. Been there many many times and there is always something there that grabs my heart and I end up tearing up thinking of all the sacrifices that our military and their families made for us to enjoy our freedoms!!

This made my eyes wet. I posted it on my Facebook page.
We brought an old friend visiting us, a very salty old Colonel to The Eisenhower rec center. He was soon using his handkerchief.
Thank you to him and all of you and your ancestors for their service and to the Morse family for making this building a tribute to our nation's history and to all military.

The place is wonderful. I have to say as a veteran of our armed forces I was completely blown away my first visit there. I think it's truly one of if not the very best thing The Morse's have built here in the villages. I thank them for doing it.:agree:

I got to shake the hand of the President at the 50th Boy Scout Jamboree. My question in regards water classes:: first is there a charge? And how to find a schedule for December...thanks in advance.

I really can only imagine how someone who served in our military could feel.
Thank you Don for your service.

You're welcome Gracie. I'm happy I will get to show the place to Ellen tonight. She hasn't seen it yet.

We went there a few days ago and spent about 45 minutes looking at the various exhibits after having had lunch at Cane Garden. Nice afternoon.

You should be able to get a December Rec Calendar starting December 1 from a link here after going to the Recreation web-page--
The Villages - Recreation (http://www.thevillages.com/Recreation/swimming.htm) http://www.thevillages.com/recreation/recreation.asp
I am not aware of any charges for any recreation center water classes for Village residents but you do have to make sure you sign up in time before the class fills up.
