I didn't become rich running my own business, however it was profitable, contrary to the USPS and the NYS Thruway Authority
Many years ago I went to on line bill paying and corresponding with friends via the internet. Why?? because of the increasing price of postage. (DUH)
So because they have less mail income, what do they do?? Yep, increase the price of postage (DUH)
Equally stupid is the NYS Thruway Authority who admitted not 6 months ago they had to increase toll charges because the price of gas was causing less usage. What are they doing for the second time in a year??? Yep, increasing toll charges and..........reducing the discounts for those who hold EZ passes (the personless booth, eliminating a salary) DUH
I'm sorry, but with this mentality, i should have gotten rich ;D

More Economic Wisdom From Florida--

If draught conditions continue, we will have to restrict watering to 1 time per week to conserve this precious commodity. Unfortunately, this decrease in usage will now cause us to increase the water rates. How else can we pay the salaries and provide increases to our politically appointed Commissioners of the various Florida Water Management Districts?
