Not paying attention, I inserted my camera card into where you would insert a disk on my computer. How do I get the photo card out? Any repairmen out there?

From the start menu open COMPUTER then open your CDdrive.....there should be a place where you can click on "eject"....hopefully, your drive will slide out and push out that card.

It's an all-in-one computer where the disk goes in on the side. I pressed the button to eject but nothing comes out.

You could try going to Media Player and use the CD eject function to see if it will open the disk tray as suggested above. If you have a different program for music or video, see if that has an eject function. It may help if you can tip the system to let gravity help.
If those fail, I think it's time to get it to a repair shop so it can be taken apart to retrieve the camera memory card.

Often the CD player has a small hole on the front.
If yours does then straighten out a paper clip and push it into the hole to open the drive.

Unfortunately, with the type of drive you have, it's likely that your memory card fell down into the computer case. If you aren't able to see the card, then I believe you're looking at opening the computer case to retreive the card.

And you can do that. It's kind of scary, but I have done it. What you want to avoid is touching circuit boards, etc, with your fingers.

Try turning the computer upside down, then insert the paperclip (mentioned above) or pushing the eject/open button, with any luck the tray will open. As previously mentioned, the memory card has probably fallen or wedged itself inside the CDrom drive mechanism and opening the computer case will most likely be the only way to get it out.
IF the CD tray does open, I would try one more thing. Turn the computer up on end with the open tray down, and gently shake the computer, hopefully the memory card will come loose and fall out.
Hope this helps, if not, call MMD computer repair (near 466 on route 441), they did some repair work on my laptop and very good.

Not every CD has a tray to slide open. The OP mentioned an all-in-one, so I suspect it is simply a slot that accepts the CD. Otherwise, the OP would have had to open the tray and physically place the memory card on it. I think that might have been a clue that this was not the proper operation...ha ha
OP does not state the type of computer, but iMacs have a slot and not a tray

It's a Gateway All-In-One computer. Yes, it only has a slot that accepts the CD and does not have a tray that opens and closes.

I think it will need to come apart. The above link describes how this is done. I didn't read every word of this forum but was it determined what opening the card went into?
One comment that is made in the video is that the cooling system is not the best.
Opening the case is not for beginners and it may cause other problems if done incorrectly. I would suggest taking it to a pro. I do not know any pros. While he has it apart I would get all the dust cleaned out or replace the fan or add another one. The money is in the labor and not the parts.
Good luck

If you cannot get it out, I would suggest taking the PC to MMD and see if they can get it out.
MMD is on 27/441. A couple of blocks south of 466 on the north side (left hand side).
