Tony from Doggie Doo Run Run yesterday afternoon told me that they had had some Chihuahua/German Shepherd mixes there yesterday afternoon. I got to thinking exactly how this happened? Very big Chihuahua and very small German Shepherd? At least in attitude? Why would someone design a dog mix like this when most of the time I doubt if the smaller dog could even reach the larger one. And if the chihuahua were the female would not the puppies be too large not to mention the....?

I did Google German Shepherd and Chihuahua mixes and one popped up that looked very much like it but most of the results were German Shepherds maiming or killing Chihuahuas that were too big in attitudes for their bodies and teeth.

I once saw a Teacup Chihuahua kill a Rottweiler. It got lodged in his throat, and the Rottweiler choked.

Hey when dogs are in the mood about anything can happen in the heat of the moment. We use to have yorkie's. little male thought he was Great Dane both attitude and size. My mother-in-law had female in heat. We thought we were smart putting diaper (pants) on her. After few hours found the two behind the couch and he had pulled her pants (diaper) down and rest was buns in the oven.

This doesn't really sound plausable, particularly if the chihuahua was a female. If a female, giving birth would definitely kill her and even in mating, the "lock" could rip her apart. No matter what the dogs look like, I think there is a big piece of this story missing.

Have not met these dogs yet. I see now reason why anyone would want to mess with my head NOW and expect to get away with it.

I was at Doggie Doo Run Sunday and noticed a young man playing with two identical beautiful dogs. I asked him what kind of dogs they were and he said Chihuahua and German Shepherd mix. To me they looked like very thin, small German Shepherds with short hair. I thought they were siblings, however the owner told me they were either 6 or 8 years (I forget) a part in age. This makes me think he had one and then got another one years later so not sure it was an accidental breeding.
