Dave and Pat have asked me to post the following meeting reminder:

M E R R Y :pepper2: C H R I S T M A S

You are invited to our Annual Canadian Loonies and Toonies CHRISTMAS DINNER and DANCE on Wednesday, December 10th at La Hacienda. Doors will open for registration at 5:30 p.m.

This year we will be offering a traditional Christmas dinner catered by Cody’s Roadhouse featuring turkey, gravy, glazed ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, sweet rolls and desert for just $10.00 per person. Please reply before December 3 to looniesandtoonies@gmail.com, to let us know if you will be joining us. We need to give Cody’s the exact number of dinners to prepare. Also, please let us know if you have any dietary concerns such as gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian, etc. Please bring your own beverages.

If you are entertaining guests and would like to bring them along to help us celebrate the Festive Season, they are more than welcome. Please note they will need to join the Loonies & Toonies Club. The annual membership fee is $5.

We have been informed by one of Santa’s elves, that a reporter from the Daily Sun will be attending in order to write a story about; “How Canadians celebrate Christmas in Florida’s Friendliest Hometown”.

Once again this year we ask for you to support Santa Claus, Ray Conley, with his mission to deliver toys to underprivileged, handicapped and exceptional children in the tri-county area. Please bring an unwrapped new toy for this amazing gentleman who has been doing this for over 50 years. Santa Claus will be joining us for most of the evening so bring your camera!

Also, we will continue to support the Wildwood Food Bank. Please bring non perishable, not expired, food for collection at the door. We will also continue to support the Shepherd's Lighthouse so please bring any used clothing or household items you wish to donate.

To help us enjoy the evening, our favorite Villages entertainer Mike Palma “Just Mike” (now of Katie Belle’s fame) will be joining us.

We will have signup sheets available for our springtime events – Canadian Snowbird Extravaganza; Toronto Maple Leaf/Tampa Bay Lightning Hockey Game; 5th annual Golf Tournament; and Toronto Blue Jay/Houston Astro Spring Training Game at Disney World – more info to come!

We look forward to seeing you on the 10th.

Dave and Pat

Absolutely, they are very welcome to come to the Christmas party. We often have renters attending.
Each renter would need to join the Club for $5 plus pay $10 for the Cody's catered dinner.
Last year we had over 500 Loonies & Toonies members with people from most provinces including Nova Scotia and British Columbia.

The sisters will be most welcome. New Loonies always seem to enjoy themselves and meet new friends.
If they are planning to attend, we need to know asap so we can advise Cody's. They are catering the dinner.
