Renter or owner?

A renter would use the Tee-Time system in the phone 352 753 4653. Then follow prompts. You will need an id # which you'll get from the person you are renting from.

An owner would use the same system for FREE. or.... Sign up on thevillages.net for $8.00 per month which would give you access to a computer reservation system.

I read the manual. I'm in the same boat as the poster. Not there yet, but will be next year.

Is there absolutely no walk on's? Even for a course in your neighborhood?

You can check with the starter at any course, the day of play. If they have an opening they will work you in.
All the courses are in your neighborhood!

read the good golf guide, stop in at a starters shack or the pro shop....they all have good info and can get you started correctly. Know the rules(yes even for executive courses...

We like to golf late afternoon which doesn't seem to be a popular time.
Our three neighborhood courses are booked out of one starter shack.
We often call the starter shack (telephone number listed in the phone book), and we are almost always able to book a time the same day.

Oh man. That's when I like to play too. And I agree...doesn't seem too popular.

I read the rules and get that. But when I finally move there I will still be working, so at this point, I don't know what time I will get off, but I would like to knock out some holes before dinner time. I was just wondering if they take walk ons. No sense to be rude and I wasn't trying to circumvent the rules.
