Danny, that likeable guy who sells top quality fish from giant portable coolers, has opened his permanent store on route 466,just past Fairway Christian Church. I was in yesterday and bought cobia, mahi, and some little neck clams. I have been buying seafood from him for three years. An honest, hard working soul who you can't help but like. 352_751_1755.He is open Tuesday through Saturday 10-6pm. Let's support our only independent fish monger. His store is clean and stylish. Good luck to Danny. Highly recommend.

Thank you for posting. I went to the farmer's market this morning to buy fish from Danny. I have been buying fish from him since we moved to TV. The quality is excellent and so are the soups, stuffed Portobello mushrooms and the delicious key lime pie.:pepper2:

This is a great informational thread. I agree with supporting small businesses.
Could you please give us a street address or a couple of cross streets?
Thanks for your post.

I just called Danny's store to find out directions. He is located on the north side of CR 466 1/2 mile East of Morse Blvd. Just East of Santa Fe Plaza.
Stuffed portebello mushrooms on the grill sound delicious for dinner tonight.

We have been buying from Danny for a few years now. We just went to his new store and bought Grouper. It was the best we have ever eaten. Fresh seafood is always best. Try the Lighthouse Seafood and you will not be sorry.

Great guy and shop, with the best fresh fish around. Had red snapper last night with a coconut mango sauce I bought there...yum! His stove is due any day, at which point they will start cooking more things (like conch chowder). The new number for the store is 352-751-1755, if you want to call and check on what's available or to have them hold something for you.

Great news. Great guy and outstanding seafood.
Try his Fresh Atlantic Caught shrimp, so much better than farm raised...
