In a recent Larry King interview with Jon Stewart, Larry brought up the subject of the primaries and asked him if America was ready for a woman or a black president.
Jon looked at him quizzically and said,
"This is such a non-question....
Did anyone ask us in 2000 if Americans were ready for a moron?"

And yet, a moron we did receive. Judged by historians as the worst adminstration in our history. Yes, a very clever remark Muncle. Wonder why he has his own show and you don't. hmmm, let's see . . . :dontknow:

Moron is too kind, when it comes to the current administration. Let's just walk down memory lane to see who George W. appointed to his cabinet over the last 8 years. Or, just sit and go over some of his more infamous quotes. "Mission Accomplished", or "You're doin' a great job Brownie". Moron? Doesn't even begin to describe or define the man!

Jon Stewart was referring to Bush.
The people really elected Gore but Florida and the Supreme Court gave the election to the moron. And what a fine job Bush has done. I wonder if we will ever recover from his 8 years of spending, lying and stupid decisions. He will never win a Nobel Peace Prize!!!
Even Bush is starting to flip on global warming.
I give hotrod and Fullrob credit because I gave up a long time ago on this forum.

Ah, mc, you just have to take this forum with a large grain of salt and a lot of humor. Occasionally, there are worthwhile tidbits and some real knowledge can be imparted. Me, I take what I want, argue what is truly obscene to me, try to get people to see there is more than one side. Who knows, if we try hard enough maybe we can open one mind and that's a huge accomplishment in this world.

Let's see now. Al Gore and Jimmy Carter have won Nobel Peace Prizes during the Bush administration. Gore also has an Oscar and an Emmy. All this was for a book and movie that Britain will only allow in its schools if it is accompanied by an explanation of its many errors. Carter, Clinton (female), Clinton (male), and Obama have Grammy awards. Bubba two of them. Obama's award was especially significant as he beat out former fan favorites Carter and Bill Clinton. He must be wonderful.
However, doesn't it kinda makes one wonder if these awards have any true value any more, sort of like Barry Bonds home run records or Russian election results.
Oh, and try as you might to deny it and perpetuate the big lie, Bush won the 2000 election. Even the NY Times admits that he won Florida and won the only vote that counts, the Electoral College.

And yet, try as you might to deny it, Bush has been the worst President in our history. As far as awards go, let's see who the award goes to in November.

My heart goes out to you for your loss and you should be MAD AS HELL.
Unfortunately, Dubya doesn't feel the same way. He is so wrapped up in his own cocoon that he'll never know the lasting damage he has wrought on our fine country. Not just the current generation but our children and our children's children and their children. We'll be forever, if ever, digging out of this cesspool of debt that Dubya had dumped upon us all.

Even if one agrees, and stipulates that GW won in 2000, the man is still a moron.

I will also cast my vote for the current and last Congress as tied for the worst in my history.
Surely we can do better as a nation. I mean if we are seriously interested in change, let's not stop at the Oval Office.

I love it. I also enjoy Keith Olbermann on MSNBC.
