Hello, my name is Willow! I am in need of a new home since my current owner has serious health issues and can no longer care for me. I am a female and just 2 years old. I've been spayed, vet checked and weigh about 10 lbs. My personality is best described as affectionate and playful. But, when you first meet me, I may initially be a little shy. Being a shorthair, my coat is easy to care for with a stunning mix of stripes and spots (see my photos below!). If you think you're the loving human of my dreams, you can arrange to see me here in the Villages. Please call Claire at 508-269-4801 to make an appointment. Hope to meet you soon!
Love & Kitty Kisses,
Willow
P.S.
If I can’t find a new home by December 22nd, I'll be sent to an animal shelter. Please open your heart and bring me home for Christmas…I will love you forever in return!

Please make sure its a no kill shelter if you have to send her to one. Pet Lover's Rescue has adoptions at Petco. She would get lots of exposure there and hopefully find a home fast.

Thanks for the tip...I will certainly look into this option for my friend Claire. Already contacted the Humane Society of Sumter Co, but currently "no vacancy" for cats. Unfortunate since they run an excellent shelter!

I wish you good luck in finding a new home for this beautiful cat.
I hope she doesn't have to go to a shelter.

Not sure since Willow has never been around dogs. Typically though, felines and canines reach an understanding and live in harmony! :)

It usually takes a battle or two with the cat coming out the winner (unless a large dog who hates cats) but they do seem to ultimately reach a truce, especially if you keep a water bottle handy.

We have always had both dogs and cats and when they have come into our home, they have come one-by-one. Initially, there is some apprehension but they all have always, ultimately lived in peaceful coexistence and even as best friends.

Same here. There is a period of adjustment while the strangers are setting their boundaries, as animals do.
Often cats and dogs become good friends. I think my little dog misses my Himalayan cat as much as I do.

Much like people, sometimes relationships work...

While other times there are "irreconcilable differences"! LOL

I just got the best Christmas gift a kitty could hope for...a new forever home! A very nice couple in Summerhill adopted me and I can't stop purring with delight. Thanks to everyone who helped make my dream come true!

I'm so very glad. She sounded like such a sweet kitty. May she purr in contentment with her new slaves for the rest of her life.

I will try again to convince him after the holidays.. Sorry to miss getting this beauty !!!! I am sure there will be many more chances for a new furry friend..
