Brownwood has a new restaurant, I believe it opened today and I can't wait to try it.

When we moved here in January Brownwood had very little to offer now it is becoming a thriving vibrant town square, with new stores and restaurants opening.:a040:

There about noon today.

Wife had the Reuben with steamed vegies. It was huge and very good.

I had the pot roast baked potato. It was huge and wonderful. They have huge baked potatoes that they put all sorts of stuff on. The pot roast had carrots and gravy.

The prices are really good with most things at $7-$8.

Talked with the corporate folks that are down from Atlanta to help the start-up. They say this is number 339. So, they must have the thing down.

Talked with the owner, who has been there since day one of fitting the place out. He was very nice.

It looks like the place is crowded when you first walk in, but the line moves fast, then you move to your seat, and they bring you the food.

Fast, cheap, and good. Nice addition to Brownwood.

Then went next door to Cal's for a haircut from Eddie. All so close.

Grabbed a Reuben and a Itialian to go this afternoon. Big sandwich, wife and I split the Reuben with a pasta salad side, it was delicious, guess we will have the Itialian for lunch tomorrow. Great addition to Brownwood.
