Magic Man Palms... Do Not Use

Bought some Palms from Magic Man. One died. Called him, and said he would replace, never showed up, called him back and he would not answer my calls. Beware, he drives around The Villages trying to sell Palms. He is cheaper, but definitely does not honor his work.

Call the Better Business Bureau and file a complaint. Even if he is not a member, your complaint will remain on file for others.

Take him to small claims court. The reason people and businesses like Magic Man proliferate is because no one does anything about them. The only way to stop them is to take action.

I have had mixed results at best with MAGIC MAN. I liken MAGIC MAN to snake charmers. They come and say the right things to earn a contract. Then they come and do nice work. But, if the work is not finished or for any reason not quite right, they promise to come back, then they never do. In our case, we are owed a refund for overpayment as well as some work was not completed. I have grown weary of placing calls to them and being ignored. I'm telling all my neighbors to steer clear of MAGIC MAN.

Do not buy anything from anyone who comes to your door without an appointment!!!

Also used Magic Man. They did a nice job of landscaping, however, they did "magically" make any follow up or warranty disappear. Would definitely not recommend them.

I, too, had a bad experience with Magic Man. They are currently under new ownership, but nothing has improved. The new owner has told us he would come by and make good on any issues, but he never shows up. I have deliberately stayed home for an entire day so that, if he came by, there would be no excuses. The best thing Masgic Man can do for The Villages is leave.
