Has anyone had experience with The Grout Guys? They have good reviews, but we are looking for personal experiences with their cleaning of tile and grout, and possibly sealing the grout.

Have solved the grout issue-- at least to our satisfaction. Stopped the flagilation(trying to clean grout).
Go to your favorite hardware store and buy a product called Grout Stain or Grout Refresh (essentially a paint). Clean grout as you would in a normal floor cleaning. Allow to dry thoroughly. Apply grout sealer as directed.
Problem solved ,quickly, without the mess caused by the "professionals".
Found the products to last , with minor touch up for many years.
"Professionals" will try to tell you that you need acid cleaning, etc before applying sealer. Not my experience in two homes over 10 years.

We just had new tile installed. We were told not to ever seal the grout. (don't know if this is some new type of grout) and to only clean with vinegar.

Thanks for that info, Challenger. Rango, we were told that, also, when we bought our house, new, in 2005. After 9 years, though, we wish we had. Normal living creates dirt in the grout, and we have tried everything to bring it back to the original color/look, but we aren't satisfied. Time to try something else.
Does anyone have experience with The Grout Guys or Sure Care Solutions?

If you seal the grout while under warranty, you'll void the warranty.

I have had homes where I sealed the grout, & was told by grout cleaners that eventually the sealant breaks down in high traffic areas, & so it is harder to clean than if you never sealed it because the stains will leech through. My current home does not have sealed grout, & I use a power steamer & stiff brush when I feel it needs cleaning.
