I used it a number of years ago when our son and family lived in France. It helped me get along the couple months I was there. If you return for any reason, expect to pay postage.

I have used several of their language courses and found their method to be effective for the way my feeble mind learns things. While I haven't travelled internationally for a couple of years, I still remember a fair amount of the German and Italian I learned.

Back when I was commuting, they were especially useful because they age all conversational.

You can often buy used Pimsleur courses on eBay at a fair savings.
