Wanted: your nerdy grandson

I just bought a Smart TV and I need help setting up the remote, the Wifi connection etc. If you have a visiting grandson who's a whiz at all this new technology I would be most grateful for an hour of his time. I'm too old a dog to learn new tricks!

YouTube only works if it makes sense to you. JB, like me, is remote control challenged.

The problem is that you have to use both the remote for DirectTV and the television to turn things on, change channels, etc.

(BTW, a nerdy granddaughter or nerdy senior would work!)

I was faced with something similar just this past week and I used my search engine Ask.com - What's Your Question? (http://www.ask.com) to learn how to handle my problem. I got pages of information came up and I managed to fix it myself. Try typing your question into your search engine, giving the make, serial number, as much information as you can find on the thingee and see what comes up - you will be surprised at the amount of knowledge available free on the internet!
