Yes, all the courses are open. You make tee times at executive courses, just like every day. The championship courses are free with no tee times, first come, first play.

No. We will be Christmasing, Christmas Day.

I can't believe it either. This is how I know Sweetie loves me more than golf. Sometimes I worry.

Apparently, someone mis-interpreted the newspaper info. The championship courses are open, but no green fees. There will be starters there to keep order. There will be no carts or club rentals. The golf shops and pools will be closed, At least one member of each foursome desiring to play must have a resident ID. No t-times issued, first come, first serve. Location to sign up at each course for 9 or 18 holes is in the paper.

BosSox, if this is true (re: executive tee times) it is the first year ever. Where did you see that you must make a tee time to play an the executive courses?

My Dad and I have played an executive course every Christmas morning. There were no tee times; in fact there are no starters or ambassadors and hopefully not too many other golfers as they are lined up at the championship courses :clap2:

I work at Executive Courses. They are open but on a first come basis. No starters or ambassadors. Kind of like a free-for-all!

It's the most wonderful time of year!
While bicycling past Riley Grove last year I counted 19 carts waiting to tee off! What a wonderful way to meet your neighbors. In the 5 hours waiting to tee off think how many new friends you'll meet and greet!

Actually the three times I've played over the past week, I've teed off earlier then my appointed time

So. How does this relate to no appointed time (tee time) on Christmas day?
