The Bill Clinton cameo is a reminder of his visit on the show. Clinton had never tweeted and Colbert worked with him to send out his first. Thus in the farewell, a tweet

"But I know we'll meet again some sunny day, signed Prez Billy Jeff", Bill Clinton recently tweeted to Stephen Colbert.

Thanks for posting the list of names in attendance. Sometimes at our age, it gets harder to put a name to a face. It would be difficult to find a more eclectic group than Mike Huckabee on stage with Cyndi Lauper.

A Colbert classic, the 2006 White House Correspondents' Dinner. Some good natured fun:

You won't have to miss him.
He is slated to take over the David Letterman Show sometime in the Spring.

Who has had a better send-off? Can Stewart even top it?
