I went to Brownwood last night with friends and listened to RicK Melvern/Motown and More with Rick singing the vocals. All I can say is WOW!!!
He has a great voice singing Marvin Gaye's "Whats Going On" along with other favorites. He has a tremendous vocal range. Fantastic and great!!!!
We stayed from 5 PM to 9 PM as we were enthralled by his performance. He also wow'ed the crowd on some songs, and they were applauding fervently.
My friend bought 2 CD's and gave me one. I listened to the CD this morning and loved his voice, and song selection. Anyone who can sing rock-n-roll along with Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles and Frank Sinatra has my vote, (Sinatra was only on the CD and not in his live performance).
Stayed tuned as I will attempt to find out his future scheduled appearances.
