I'm so sorry to hear he lost his battle with cancer. Saw his Mad Dogs concert. It was one if the best concerts I'd ever been to. He kept us rocking throughout. RIP

I didn't know. That is sad, I'm a big fan. My favorite is "With a Little Help from My Friends". RIP Joe Cocker.

I saw it in Cleveland. Rita Coolidge was the Delta Lady? Joe came out, sang, threw up on stage, kept singing and finished the concert.
For a laugh, Google joe and John Belushi.
Joe did a lot for kids with his charity.

Very sad. A real entertainment force in our 'early days.' There will never be another like him. God rest his soul.

It's because of him that I met my husband of 45 years. I was at a curb service hot dog drive in when he pulled up next to me. We talked about With A Little Help From My Friends and I mentioned I couldn't find the 8 track. He said he had it. We went to his place and got it. He and the cassette came home with me. We married 3-1/2 months later. Ahhhh, the late 60's.
I too was at Woodstock and certainly remember his performance! There will never be another.
