Jerseygirl & Mintjulep

We three arrive this coming Sunday, May 18th and will be there on vacation for 3 wks.
We are coming from Canada and will not be down in time for this weeks luncheon. Perhaps we can set up a time to meet say perhaps one day during the last week of May for lunch at Crispers. I know Marcia/Paul (PM10) are also expected that week as well.

I will not have access to a computer in our rental home, but will try to check on the computers available down there for a reply if I happen to miss your responses before leaving early Thursday morning. Marcia/Paul have our phone number at the house. I am sure she will be checking the forum as well and can reply and advise us once she arrives if the above date is not suitable. Hoping you all can join us or we can meet elsewhere.
We are all looking forward to spending our vacation in TV and hubby is hoping to get some golfing in if anyone is looking for another person to join them. He is shy about going on his own to a golf course.

I wasn't able to make it to the monthly meeting but Linda and I meet quite a few TOTV'ers while on our stay. I'm sure that someone will arrange something.

Tell you husband not to be shy about playing golf with others. I do it quite often and I have meet some great friends that way.

Donna, the easiest way to arrange a "meet and greet" is to advise when you'll be free and then people will congregate as they can. We've found for the more "informal" get togethers it often is best to meet somewhere around one of the squares if it is set for late afternoon or early evening and, if the music is good, then wander over to the square to listen, dance, watch and just have fun. This has worked well in the past.

So, name your time and we can probably pick the location if you don't want to. If you specifically want to make it Crisper's, that can probably be arranged, too.

Thanks Redwich. Prefer Crispers till we get the feel or lay of the land. Any day of the week is fine with us. Perhaps others will make it known what suits them. Actually anything is fine with us just looking forward to the meet and greet!!!

Thanks.

:welcome: Hey Donna & Stan, I'm all smiles for you folks. 3 weeks of Village Fun and Sun. I sure do enjoy RJ Gators, especially the 2 for 1. Those hot nights, a nice cold frosted glass of beer, great for getting those happy feet going at the square. I wish I could join you. You'll be in Liberty Park, we'll be down in June. Enjoy your time in The Villages.

Welcome kids. We can't wait until we get down again for just a week on June 5. I envy you three weeks. Have a wonderful time and don't drink the water. Hugs and welcome

Any place is fine with us - we don't know where Crispers is, either, so we'll be happy to hunt for wherever people want to meet. ;D We'll just be so happy to be there!!!!!

My suggestion would be at the clock at Lake Sumter Landing on Tuesday, May 20. Rocky & the Rollers will be there and they really are a part of TV. It worked well the last time. Someone went to the clock every half hour from 4:00 until around 6:30. The only hard part is seating. We'll try to save a "wall" with a couple of chairs around it.

If this works for you guys, shout out. If not, we'll try to figure out something else.

Oh, that sounds so fun, Redwitch! Unfortunately, we won't be in TV until the 25th...... But you all have a great time, and we'll be watching the clock on the 20th. Wave like crazy!!!

Well, pooh! We'll just have to find out when Rocky will be at LSL in June. They're usually there every 2 weeks, so we shall see. Memorial Day may change things for the band, though. Nice thing is there are always other fun groups to see at LSL. I really like Norman Lee. He's a lot of fun and a nice guy (a little bit of country with a lot of rock n roll).

Norman Lee is a gospel singer by trade it looks like or at least by his web-site. http://www.normanleeprayon.com/home.html

We often have been at the venues where Norman Lee is singing so we must like him.
