Anyone want to see UNBROKEN on New Year's Day? Would like to go to the 4:30 pm show at Barnstorm Theater in BROWNWOOD, and maybe some of us could check out the entertainment or have a snack later. Movie is 2-1/2 hrs.
Alternatively, assuming the schedule remains the same, we could go the next day, Fri., Jan. 2. The theater didn't have the schedule for that period, but advised the times would be the same or 1/2 hr. off.
The movie rights to the story were purchased by Universal in 1957 with the thought of Tony Curtis in the lead role; Nicolas Cage was interested, then finally the movie was launched after the book was published in 2010. So
it has been a long time in the works!
