Hello,

I was recommended to come here and post my questions, hope I am in the right area! Today I just accepted a job managing a couple of the golf courses within the community. I am currently living in Downtown Orlando and I am looking to relocate around the Villages. As I am under 55, and have a family and two small children, can anyone recommend some nice areas to live ( looking to rent a single family home in the short term), what are the schools like, is it safe to raise a family etc. as I have really no idea as to the regulations.May I say on my couple site visits to the courses I was blown away by the size of the community and everyone was very friendly!

Thanks, Wes

Wes. You and your family are about to embark on a wonderful experience.

I don't know which course you are associated with, but they are all very busy and appreciated by my fellow residents. I typically only play championship courses (as a duffer) but have a lot of fun.

As an individual employed by an organization in TV your children will be able to attend TV Charter Schools which is a highly desirable system. I believe they are ranked amongst the highest in the state.

You'll run into a few grump buckets (after all many of us haven't officially graduated from junior high yet). But the rest of us are just so happy to be here!

There are a number of areas surrounding TV which will be attractive to you and your family, including TV depending upon your ages.

We look forward to having to having you join us..

P.S. I'm looking forward to shooting a hole in one. Do you think you might help?

You should also enquire about areas set aside for The Villages employees.
