How many of you, including liberal Democrats, agree with the principles of Liberation Theology, or of Black Liberation Theology? Should those espoused principles be part of our future?

That was an amazingly distorted video clearly designed to frighten those who view it. It amazes me how much emphasis is placed on Barack Obama's middle name.

How often do you hear commentators mention John Sidney McCain?
They make the totally spurious claim that there is no hidden message in mentioning Obama's middle name. How ridiculous.

The video makes even more of Obama's associations with Liberation Theology.* Be careful you don't get caught up more in his name than the video does.* After all, they are Muslim names, and he gave them to himself.* He had non-Muslim names to begin with.*

Other aspects of the video are equally important to understand.* We've seen most of his odd behaviors and associations in bits and pieces, but altogether they depict what should be clearly understood as a troubling picture.* I don't undestand why folks aren't putting 2 and 2 and 2 and 2 together to understand what this man is all about.

How many times is this same stupid video going to be dragged out! This was on another post and debated over and over again. It's clearly part of an Internet smear campaign, it's slanted beyond recognition and it's enough already. Everytime I see something like this all I can think is how much the Republicans fear this man. This video is slime of the first degree. Enough already! I can't wait to see a McCain/Obama debate on the real issues.

p.s. Cassius Clay chose the name Mohammad Ali. It didn't make him less of a champion or less of a Winner!

Chelsea, I'm with you. Obama's father deserted him when he was 2 years old! He was raised by his white mother and grandparents. Interesting ploy how certain people keep trying to tie him to his father. My daughter and family met Barack Obama a few weeks ago. My daughter was very impressed. Grandchildren loved him as he spent time talking with them.
