I have a Sony Bravia tv and was dusting behind it. I hit some button or something and now I have a banner that comes on every minute and stays on for two minutes goes off for one and then back again. It switches from the top to the bottom. It says NX72 on the far left. I have tried everything I can think of to turn it off. I even turned off the circuit breaker and then back on and it didn't reset. I have hit every button and gone through the whole manual I can't get it to turn off. I went on the sony site and on the internet and still can't find how to turn it off. Does anyone know how to get it off?

Under the setup menu of the tv there will be a demo feature that you need to turn off

"Press and HOLD (5 sec) the MENU button located on the SIDE of the TV. A message will appear; (Demo Mode: OFF)."

I think this is how I turned the dumb thing on in the first place it will teach me not to dust. I tried your suggestion and it won't go off I think maybe the button is stuck will have to take in for repair when we get back in April. As we are off to the Villages now.

Unplug it while you are away. It may reset itself and require you to run the initial setup when you return.
