I just picked up The Bulletin from the driveway. First thing I read is it costs 110,000 to put this publication on every driveway in The Villages. Has anyone ever thought of putting this on a website instead? Sure would be cheaper not to mention if you're on vacation and no one picks it up for you, it lets the criminals know you're not home.

The POA bulletins are available in PDF format from the POA web site. If you do not want to receive the paper copy you may opt out either for a specific period or permanently. Instructions are in the bulletin or on the POA web site.

I didn't know that. i will have to check out the website. Does that mean if I get it in pdf format my tenants won't get a copy in the driveway?

Sable, anyone with Internet access can read the Bulletin online (http://www.poa4us.org/bulletins_files/bulletin_page.html), regardless if the paper version gets delivered or not. :)

A large factor in the ad rates that a publication like POA can charge is "papers in driveway" ...... that $110K is returned several fold.
