This happened to me for the 2nd. time and it is just plain rude behavior. Two different people said they were interested in my items, a large rug and a light fixture. In both cases I waited for them to show up. I emailed again to see if they still wanted the items. No response. I really do have other things to do than wait around for no shows. Please put on your big girl and big boy pants and let a seller know if you changed your mind.

In addition, please don't tag an item that you will buy it and then don't contact the seller. The seller misses a chance to sell an item if you mark it sold.

Thanks for letting me rant.

Put a time limit on the sale. No cash within an hour then it goes back on the block. If they really want your item they'll be there.

Great idea! I'll remember that when listing stuff on TOTV.

that's a good idea....I am planning to put some of my Disney collectibles on, and I will certainly put a time limit on how long I will wait.

Something similar happened to me. I listed an item and it sold quickly. When I contacted the buyer to arrange a pickup time he said he didn't buy the item he was just coming to look at it. So, he hit " buy", yet had no intention of buying it until he looked at it. Luckily he ended up buying the item or it would have said sold when it actually wasn't. Bottom line, if you want to look at an item, don't hit the buy button!! Just contact the seller to arrange a time to see it. In my opinion, an item isn't sold until cash is in hand and it's not fair to the seller to "hold" the item unless you've put payment on it.

Again....this has been mentioned before BUT I don't like this new format at all. I think it's cumbersome for one thing. The old way was way better.
