Second Slice at LSL

The band, Second Slice, was at Lake Sumter Landing tonight. What a great band! Music of the '60's and 70's played with real instruments with no backup tracks. The crowd was loving every minute of it, too.

It was hard to believe this was January 3 and the evening temps were in the 70's. Great to sit there, dance a little and enjoy being in The Villages.

We had dinner at the Lighthouse and heard the music as we left the restaurant. It was a perfect night, unbelievable. We walked into LSL on the boardwalk, the sun was just beginning to set and the view over the water was beautiful. Second Slice was excellent, loved their choice of music, will definitely look for them on the schedule.

I really like to just stand and watch people and it was a perfect night for that, everyone was having such a good evening.:)

We also heard Second Slice for the first time at LSL last night and definitely agree with the positive reviews of the previous posters. What a voice from the fellow on the keyboards. Loved when he sang the Josh Groban song, and the audience apparently did too because he received a well deserved round of applause.

We also agree hubby and I love Second Slice great band and song selection and nice guys! We try to go see them every time there in!

We have gone to see them from the first square playing. We said then....these guys will be vey popular. Fun go watch the crowds grow. Checkout their web site....great story. Neat guys...great music...a gem!

Mark is the lead singer and keyboardist. He plays at Codys a few times a month by himself. He's awesome.

Second Slice is a great band. We were at LSL to hear them and had a fantastic evening.
