Just set up a 6-day lifestyle visit for July 17th. So excited - We'll get to spend 6 whole days in Paradise! Now there's something exciting to look forward to other than cleaning out this house. ha, ha

OH Good for you!

I don't think I have ever had a better time than on our lifestyle visit. I don't know whether it was just the right time for a change, that we had raised our family and everyone was situated or what.

I usually stress out sometime in a vacation, we usually go with extended family and being the matriarch, I feel responsible for everyone's good time. I didn't stress once on the lifestyle visit, even when we are buying and I am such a tightwad. I hated to go home. I think that I had a sense of belonging, due mostly to all of you on TOTV. I feel like I know a lot of folks there, and the funny thing is I do, just not your real name. How weird is that?

I wanted to call you by your real name, NJ granny, because I am so happy for you, but I don't know it, but all of that will come later when we are both situated down there.

Please look forward to your visit and enjoy it completely and look back on it with pleasure. You deserve it!

Never gave it much thought, but we never did a lifestyle visit. We just came to visit friends who had just moved in, and by the following day we began looking for a place! All I can say is, it just felt right! And having bought and spent some time (we are snowbirds), it feels even more right! Enjoy your visit!!!

njgranny,

Tried to book a lifestyle visit a year and a half ago, they were booked up so we came and stayed at a hotel and just looked at properties. Came back last week and did it on a lifestyle visit. We were so busy looking and buying a house didn't have time to enjoy lifestyle, but stayed in a nice courtyard villa and got a little taste of the life. Bought a house and will be full timer within the next few weeks. I am sure you will love it.
