This is a very good movie http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/youngheart/ even if it is a bit slow in the first 30 minutes or so. Just saw this around 1:25 p.m. today at the Rialto. ;D

I saw this move a few weeks ago and loved it! Yes slow at first, but is like nothing I have ever seen. It brought tears to my eyes, but also reminded me that we should all do what we love.

I'm glad you liked it -- even if it was slow. Almost ALL the Sundance movies we've seen need about 20 - 30 minutes edited out of them. I thought it was unique to the Sundance films (I like to think we get way more than we pay for ;D ) By the time most Sundance movies hit the big screen they've been tightened up quite a bit, and all the looooong snoozer bits have been taken out of them. I guess they left the snoozer bits in this one.
It was a real hoot meeting the stars and the director at the party afterward, because we don't usually get the celebrities in our little town. They stay in Park City or Salt Lake City, so when they come to Ogden it's a BIG DEAL -- And we had a star party, too! Woo! 8) :hot: :2cool: :pop:

The cast members of Young@Heart sure seemed to have a lot of personality. Would have been fun to meet them. :agree:

It WAS fun! They were so full of energy and enthusiasm! -- And this was at 4,500' of altitude and in the middle of a blizzard! Either one of those factors usually wipes out visitors to Utah. We had a great time meeting them, and we were so happy they came to our little town. :hot:
