Did anyone beside me think that Simon's apology to David Cook was strange?

It's not the first time that he has re-watched the performances and said that he may have been too critical during the live judging.

David C. was going to have a better career anyway IMHO.

IMHO......I think Simon was covering his a..... because he new David C was going to win and he didn't want to be caught for being to critical of the winner.
Simon is a smart business man and is good at finding talent, it would be in his best interest to apologize.
It was one of the more interesting finale's and I liked the way they gave the final 12 some more air time. There are a couple of contestants I think we will see more of.......Brooke, Michael and Syeesha, perhaps even Carly

No matter Davis Cook won and I am glad because I think he has the stuff to become a real star. Let's hope he keeps his humble and caring personality. He was very gracious last night and I like that quality in a performer.

Hat's off to David A, he is young and I am sure we will be seeing more of him, that voice is too good not to succeed.

I just posted on Tal's American Idol thread and now I see another thread on the same topic.

I think we had at least seven individual threads going on the buffalo move. I am getting so confused trying to keep track of all the individual threads on the same topic. Is it just the cold weather in Canada that is making me grumpy, or is anyone else noticing this?

I am just glad that David Cook won. There were many talented people on the show, but David C just seems so genuine. I'm sure he will do well. Congratulations to all the contestants.
