At this moment in Chicago it has warmed up to 6 with a wind chill of minus 15 AND it is snowing and blowing. We listed our house this week so next step is to be a frog in our brand new home in Lake Deaton if we don't freeze in the meantime.

Nashville, it's warmed up to 25. On my way to work, it was 4. They closed my daughter's school, because the buses wouldn't start.

One of our coldest winters on record, with some record lows being set.
Think how much worse it would be if it weren't for the blessing of Global Warming. :censored:

I am not being mean. That is why this forum is so helpful to those who aspire to live here. It clarifies what is and what is not offered.
He could have a senior in high school who is 18. I am sure that everyone knows that kids under19 can only visit 30 days in a year.

Not many live here, but some do. And...it's on my bucket list to spend a couple of winter nights up there!

Started old and she's in her last year. :) Also, when I move there, I'll still work. Don't know if I'll ever retire, because I enjoy doing what I do. I'm just wanting to gear down a bit from the responsibility. Long story, I'll tell you when I get there.
