Perhaps I missed it, but is anyone aware of why the roads were roped off at Lake Sumter Landing by the Lighthouse Restaurant on Wednesday morning?

Seems a bit early for a 5 K race. It was blocked off with several police cars and a question was asked as to what was happening and the response was "things happen."
