Cane Garden Restaurant Closing for 2 Weeks or so

The Cane Garden CC Restaurant will close soon for 2 weeks or so to repair the flooring. The wood floor has some large bubbles in it. Mostly around the bar area I guess I have been spilling to much while there during happy hour. They don't know exactly when but it will be a couple of weeks before this happens.

They are going to re-due the entire restaurant floor and probably rework other things. I don't know the whole story and what I have may not be all the facts we will have to see how it goes.

OK , but I heard they were running low on buffalo meat....But to fix the floor makes more sense.........Going from the front tables to the restroom is like a theme park...............

Ah-Hah! Miss Persnickity here is satisfied! When we were there last month it was the only place that I thought looked a little shabby. The carpet really did need replaced.

That will be a major improvement. It was getting a bit dingy, but it is still my favorite place to have a drink and watch the sunset from the porch.

We're away right now and so won't be missing Cane Garden during its renovations. Look forward to the improvements, as we really like that restaurant (and yes, that back porch for sunsets)!

We were there in March when we visited. Our first time there. Food was very good but the outdoor furniture needed new cushions or else a good cleaning! It was packed with snowbirds about to be going home! We enjoyed it so much we went back again that same week.

According to the bartenders at Cane Garden last night, they will only be closed down for several days to repair/replace flooring in kitchen and dinning area. They haven't been told when this will take place.

On Villages News Network they interviewed the manager of Cane Garden Restaurant and she said that they will close from September 15th to the 20th. They will carpet and tile the floor.

Super! I will be in TV from the 12th thru the 16th. So, at least, I'll be able to get a day or two to enjoy Cane. Each time I've been in TV I've enjoyed that place. A great place to enjoy a drink at the bar and speak with friendly patrons.

I had put this out back in May and and was told that they were doing this soon. Now I just found out what soon is. Thought I would just continue the previous thread.
