It appears when we put the thermostat up to 75, it only goes to 73. We put it to 80 and it goes to 75. Anyone have this issue and resolve it without calling the company? I would prefer not to have them come out and pay them just to flick a switch and leave me feeling like a dolt.

Actually at 80, it seems to reach 79.

Does your thermostat have a dehumidify/humidity control. I believe this can affect the setting. If you have your manual, it should explain this.

We had a similar problem and after some online research solved the problem by changing the filter.

You probably have a 3 degree difference between what you set the temp for and the actual temp IF the humidity is high. Check the humidity setting. However from your description this is probably not the problem but I would check all the settings to the manual. Then probably live with the problem.

Also, the temperature shown is at the thermostat and doesn't reflect the temp in the rest of the house.
