It doesn't matter who he picks, he can't win. Too much like his predecessor.

:agree: with Fullrob. But if I was being honest and fair, I think he should pick Romney because McCain knows absolutely NOTHING about our economy. Also, he could choose Jeb Bush because that would insure him against any assassination attempt. ;D

I agree that McCain should pick Romney, & not Jeb Bush. I don't think we could stand another Bush in the White House. And I voted for G.B The more I hear about him & see what he's doing or not doing on many CRITICAL issues. I certainly DO NOT another Clinton either. Maybe I'm wrong, but the more I see of her I can tell she wants in at ALL costs. I'm not opposed to having a woman in the WH, just not Hillary. Same thing goes with Obama, He scares a lot of people including myself. I don't care that much for McCain either. Some choices. I guess I will vote for the candidate who will do the least damage. I'm done (for now )

This recent CNN political article states that Senator Obama is looking for a V.P. candidate or seriously considering one-- http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/05/22/obama.vp.search/index.html

I'd have been in favor of Colin Powell some long while ago, but I doubt that he'd even consider it, now. And, I'd agree with him. Quite frankly, while his military background is outstandingly impressive, I don't think we need two military guys in charge!
Condi Rice is a brilliant lady, but she'd be a waste as a VP. She's done an amazing job, now she should be allowed to return to academia!
I'm inclined to agree that the candidate will need Gov. Romney's financial expertise. Or, Gov. Huckabee's down-to-earth style.
As a Floridian, I'd frankly be sorry to see Charlie Crist chosen, 'cause we need his style here!

I'd be surprised if Sen. Obama picked anyone other that Gov. Richardson. That seemed like a "done deal" when Gov. Richardson dropped the Clintons out of the clear blue.
For FL and MI Democrats, since the Democratic National Committee considers these voters worthless, wouldn't it be ironic if Sen. Obama chooses either Sen. Nelson or Governor Granholm?
Sen. McCain - I would expect him to pick a Governor (or former Governor) as his domestic policy counter-part.

Please pick Crist so we can get rid of him. He has already put Florida on the road to bankruptcy.
