I just came across this and had to share it with all my fellow TOTV junkies!
Cleaning Poem

I asked the Lord to tell me
Why my house is such a mess.
He asked if I'd been 'computering',
And I had to answer 'yes.'

He told me to get off my fanny
And tidy up the house.
And so I started cleaning up...
The smudges off my mouse.

I wiped and shined the topside.
That really did the trick...
I was just admiring my work..
I didn't mean to 'click.'

But click, I did, and oops I found
A real absorbing site.
That I got SO way into.
I was into it all night.<Sigh>

Nothing's changed except my mouse
It's very, very shiny.
I guess my house will stay a mess...
While I sit here on my hiney. :joke:

And so true! The house gets dirtier and dirtier and the hiney gets bigger and bigger!

Nonie, if you read what I did today, you'll know how big my hamster hiney can get! :joke:

Here is one of my favourites:

Dust if you must, but wouldn't it be better
To paint a picture, or write a letter,
Play some golf, or plant a seed;
Ponder the difference between want and need?

Dust if you must, but there's not much time,
With rivers to swim, and mountains to climb;
Music to hear, and books to read;
Friends to cherish, and life to lead.

Dust if you must, but the world's out there
With the sun in your eyes, and the wind in your hair;
Golf carts to drive, a shower of rain,
This day will not come around again.

Dust if you must, but bear in mind,
Old age will come and it's not kind.
And when you go (and go you must)
You, youself, will make more dust.

Bare,
You could write this poem in my furniture! ::)

I must be doing something right!

Saving my dust for any visiting grandkids, so they can write their name on the diningroom table!!!!!!!

Love and relate to both poems.

One of the nice things about being a Designer was I got to make it pretty, take a picture and quickly leave before the room got messed up and someone had to clean it.

How come my house can't stay clean like that...and where does that dust come from?
