I'm reading Wheat Belly by William Davis, MD and it is making sense. Barnes and Nobles at Lake Sumtet has the book.

Go to your bathroom scale every morning and if you don’t like what you see then think about what you did and what you ate yesterday. If you like what you see then do what you did yesterday. I was over weight most of my life and diets do not work because diets end and then the weight comes back. I lost 100 lb.s over two years and buy weighing my self every morning and evaluating what I see on my scale I have maintained this low weight with in a three pound variation for the last two years. I hope you find this helpful good luck and God bless.

Look only to yourself for validation. Other people won't be with you, all the time.
1. If you are not going to stay at our target weight, then don't lose any weight.
2. A lifestyle change in eating habits works the best. NOT DIETS!!!!
3. Several small meals a day.
4. Portion control.
5. When you are a small child, your mother put a certain amount of food on your plate. Phsycologically speaking, your brain gets accustomed to thinking this is what is going to fill me up. Eat slower as it takes an half an hour for your brain to signal your body, that you are full.
6. Exercise three times a week.

GOOD LUCK!!!
