View Full Version : Homeowners insurance
I did the search on TOTV but did not come up with anything definitive about homeowners insurance. Suggestions for who to call for a home in Amelia?

Oh rats, we just did that and found the local one is the cheapest, best, etc. I can't remember what it was...Sumter something? Henry is in Columbus today so I can't ask him,
Yes. He filed it. I will never find it now.

I bought the Villages Insurance. Found they were priced right and are very knowledgeable.
It's in LSL. 352-751-6622

And I agree about Villages Insurance. Ask for Barbara if she's available; very helpful and knowledgeable. Again, good luck!!!

State Farm, Connie Duff Wise agency. We have been with State Farm for over 35 years up in Virginia and for three years here. We never have a problem and the price is right. In fact, we have a multiple lines discount as our car and golf cart are also covered by State Farm.

State Farm is not issuing new Home Owners insurance policies as of now, based on our discussion with Connie Duff Wise Agency last week. But they will broker you to another agency until they are able to issue policies. We have been with State Farm for 40 satisfactory years. Connie Wise Duff agent said since we are long time clients we would be considered earlier when they can issue again. Also heard All State is issuing policies again.
We were talking to them get our ducks in a row as we have sold our house in Michigan and will be in TV all next week to Purchase our house. Think we can find one in 2 days? We want to move in by late July.
I went to the Allstate office on Hwy 441 ( just North of Wal-Mart. I got a great package quote for both auto/home and golf cart. Worked with Stephanie.

I found the Villages Insurance to be the best. Took out our homeowners and car insurance with them.

I used the Villages Insurance also. They have an office at Colony Plaza which is very convenient to Amelia.

Villages Insurance had a very competitive quote and that's who we used.
I'm sure the others are good too, as noted above
We are also using Villages Insurance for our new home. We found it very convenient and thought the quote was fair. Maybe next year we can shop and compare.

I just got a great deal from Allstate on Hwy 441 just North of Wal-Mart. Home, auto and golf cart. Very good premiums. I also got that new auto program that Allstate advertises on TV. Accident forgiveness, safe driver bonus check every six months and deductible rewards. 347-9201.
